Refund Policy

At Gaushala App, we strive to ensure a smooth and trustworthy experience for both our Gaushala store owners and customers. Since we deal with fresh and perishable dairy products, we maintain strict quality and delivery standards. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which orders may be cancelled, replaced, or refunded.


1. Order Cancellations

  • For Customers:
    Orders can be cancelled before the product is dispatched by the Gaushala store. Once an order is out for delivery or has been marked as shipped, it cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of dairy products.

  • For Gaushala Stores:
    Sellers may cancel orders in exceptional cases, such as product unavailability, logistical issues, or payment verification problems. In such cases, customers will be notified promptly and offered an alternative or full refund.


2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued only under the following conditions:

  • The delivered product was damaged, spoiled, or incorrect at the time of delivery.

  • The product was not delivered due to an error from the seller or logistics partner.

  • The order was cancelled by the seller or Gaushala App before dispatch.

Refund requests must be raised within 24 hours of product delivery, accompanied by photo or video evidence of the issue. Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.


3. Refund Process

Once a valid refund request is approved, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment (bank account, UPI, or wallet) used during the transaction.
Processing times may vary based on payment gateways and bank policies.


4. Non-Refundable Items

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Partially used or opened dairy products.

  • Orders where the issue arises from customer negligence, improper storage, or delayed receipt of delivery.

  • Products purchased through promotional discounts, unless they are damaged or defective.
