We Ensure Every Cow Receives Proper Nutrition

Nutrition is the most vital pillar of cow welfare. Just like humans, cows need a balanced and consistent diet to stay healthy, active, and disease-free. Unfortunately, many cows—especially those that are abandoned, rescued, or living in poorly managed shelters—suffer from chronic undernourishment. This leads to weakened immunity, poor milk production, reproductive complications, and a significantly reduced lifespan.

Our mission is to make sure that no cow goes hungry or lacks the nutrition it needs to live a dignified and healthy life.

We take a scientific and compassionate approach to cow nutrition. Every cow under our care or supported through our programs is provided with:

Nutritious, species-appropriate diets that include green fodder, dry hay, grains, mineral mixtures, and clean water.

Customized feeding routines for cows that are old, pregnant, sick, or recovering from trauma or illness.

Seasonal nutrition strategies, such as hydration support during hot months and warm feeds in colder seasons.

Regular monitoring and evaluation of cow health to adjust diets as needed.

Education and support for gaushalas and farmers on best practices in feeding, storage, and care.

Beyond just feeding, we believe in empowering the caretakers. Through awareness programs, we train gaushala staff, farmers, and volunteers on how proper nutrition directly impacts a cow’s mood, energy levels, and longevity.

Proper nutrition:

Boosts natural immunity and reduces the need for medicines

Enhances milk yield and its nutritional value

Strengthens bone and muscle health

Promotes healthier offspring

Reduces stress and improves the overall temperament of cows

This is not just animal care — it’s a moral and cultural responsibility. In communities where cows are revered, it is only right that they are treated with the respect they deserve — starting with daily, nutritious meals.

We are working every day to create a system where no cow is left behind, where feeding is not occasional, but a structured and prioritized practice. Because a nourished cow is a protected cow — and through that, we nurture a more compassionate and responsible society.
